David Krumholtz has been casted in a new pilot for Ron Howard. So is Numb3rs finished? May be not.

If renewed, the actor must continue with his contract. If not, then the pilot can begin with him.

We won't know until the end of this spring if Numb3rs has been renewed by CBS, but I would take this news with hedging one's bet.
