With credits in upcoming features such as the Twilight saga and The Last Airbender, Jackson Rathbone might see his fan base grow. If you don't know already, he plays Jasper Hale in the tween flick(s).
In September, Jackson will attempt a different kind of character: a shady man. The movie has been compared to a loose adaptation of the Beauty and Beast concept. Jackson will be able to stretch his talents on film and behind the scenes.The director of the film, Justin Lerner states that: "Jackson's going to play a morally complex character, a charming and dangerous lead, jealous and diabolical, where you're not going to know if you love him or hate him. That kind of complexity will be interesting for him to tackle. It's going to be a very dark and offbeat performance."
Casting is still ongoing. No IMDB exists yet for the film.
Girlfriend is being produced by Jackson Rathbone and his band mate, Jerad Anderson.
