Submission Guidelines

Have an article? Write reviews? Got news? Spoilers? We can't offer anything but your name on the entry, but you'll be published.

Do spell and grammar check before submitting since we do not have time to do extensive edits. We will edit some, but if the submission is bad; we'll have to delete it.

*Hint* - search, review, read, and copy the format of our articles for the best results at any attempt.

Guidelines

DOs
-articles/reviews between 150 and 1500 words, including cast lists
-news/spoilers can be emailed without form under 300 words, or
-new/spoilers can be in article/review format
-factual information pertaining to genre entertainment
-we publish info on rated G through R material
-cite your material, if possible- we do
-have correct contact info in email, including email address
-nom de plumes acceptable but WE must know who you really are

Donts
-no inflammatory or derogatory statements
-no flaming personalities, celebrities, or the industry
-no lies (slanderous opinions)
-no gossip (trash talking actors' girl/boy friends)
-no adult content material

Ghost Writers

We call our one- or part- time contributors: Ghost Writers. We are also interested in people who have previewed films in screener or test audiences. We would love for Test Audience members to write us their views on a screening they saw.

OnHallowGround has been adapted from the long running site: The Hallow. For years, The Hallow gave lurkers and fans updated information on science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other genre entertainment.

The transition is on-going.

Books, literature, DVDs, and movies are reviewed. Articles and news are updated daily.

Ann is an art historian, teaching part-time at Oxford University Department of Conitinuing Education.
