Thrilling Reflections

Staff Writer: Grave Digger

OHG doesn't do music reviews, instead I will concentrate on the music video (TV) of Thriller.

Everyone in the coming days, weeks, and years will reflect on the life and career of Michael Jackson. I will remember the first time I saw Thriller. It's going to date me, so I'll just say, I saw the music video in elementary (primary) school.

My teacher played the entire video in class. I had never seen anything like the zombies set to music before. I was scared and mesmerized and, well, thrilled. And, I've never seen anything comparable (though they are plenty of copycats and posers) since that video.

It's sad this week we lost three icons: Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends who knew these exceptional people.

MTV Awards Gets Mooned

Staff Writer: Grave Digger

Revealed today, a clip of New Moon will be shown at the MTV Video Awards on May 31st.

Kirsten Stewart and Taylor Lautner will present the clip.

"Fans can tune-in to the show to see sneak peeks from three of the most highly anticipated movies of the year," Burnett tells me. "These clips have never been seen before and we're very excited that The Twilight Saga: New Moon is one of them."

Twilight leads in nominations- tied with Slumdog Millionaire- with 6 nods at this year's video awards.
