I, Jedi Book Review

Staff Writer: DL Mullan

4 out of 6 Shovels
I, Jedi

This novel is about the development of the latent Force powers in the Rogue Squadron's fighter pilot, Corran Horn. His wife Mirax has disappeared during a mission for the New Republic. Corran is desperate to find her before he can never find her again.

Corran Horn joins Luke Skywalker at the Jedi Academy to learn how to use his Jedi powers. Then Corran goes off into the unknown to find his wife. Though the story lacks many of the more popular Star Wars characters, the author makes the novel worthwhile to read.

As outsiders, we learn how Jedi training is taught and learned. We get a real sense of the Force and the Jedi's thoughts throughout the process.

This novel displays the best of writing: character, plot, and experience.
