Angels and Demons in the House

Staff Writer: Samuntha Mackenzie

3 out of 5 Shovels
Again, Professor Robert Langdon has found himself embroiled in another sinister plot with religion. Last time we left him, the Professor solved the mystery of Mary Magdelon's tomb. This time the Professor must stop a madman from taking over the Catholic Church.

Sound simple? Not in the least. The film is a mixture of action, adventure, horror, thriller, and mystery. Twist and turns in the plot make the audience dizzy with anticipation and disbelief.

With the Davini Code, the novel written after Angels and Demons, the plot is smooth and precise even if convoluted and unpredictable. The first novel installment, but second movie, Angels and Demons is more about confusion then an underlying need to find the truth.

Angels & Demons could have been epic like the Da Vinci Code-asking the hard questions, instead the film goer's just lookin' for the popcorn refill.
