Fans are having mixed reviews over the new writer for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (VotDT). Michael Petroni is replacing Richard LaGravanese.
With LaGravanese's experience as a scriptwriter, director, and producer, he was a good choice to pen VotDT. Petroni has a similiar background of writer and director, however the experience level is half of Disney's first choice.Sounds like production cost is a vital concern to Fox's interpretation of the Dawn Treader. Though budgetary concerns is at the forefront of every movie, this move seems to question the quality of the script.
Walden Media with its run of good, wholesome family entertainment, we hope that the change is in the best interest of the story and not the pocketbook.
