Syfy Channel's new show Warehouse 13 is a mix of Friday the 13th: the Series, Special Unit 2, and the last part of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Lost Ark showed how the government took dangerous objects and filed these items in a large warehouse.Special Unit 2 dealt with strange creatures and technology plus the show had a woman and man buddy team. Friday the 13th had cursed objects.
Warehouse 13 combines the best of these series. Though the series has to grow into its arc, Warehouse 13 could be a great addition to the summer lineup.

Indie: To Ethiopia, the Ark's Escaped

Please inform the writers of Indiana Jones 5 that the Ark of the Covenant is no longer housed in a secret government facility but rather in a church in Ethiopia.
Inform Harrison Ford so he can make Shia Labeouf go get it.
Apparently the Ark resides here in the Chapel of the Tablet, close to the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion.
"It was made of wood, but covered in pure gold. On top, two cherubim faced each other, their wings outspread to form the 'throne of God.'"
Abuna Pauolos states that “Soon the world will be able to admire the Ark of the Covenant described in the Bible as the container of the tablets of the law that God delivered to Moses and the center of searches and studies for centuries.”
The Ark will be shown this Friday.
A relic like this one has many busting at the seams. UFOlogists are no exception. A chance to see if there has been alien influence upon society would be monumental. Though this religious artifact could finally answer many questions to believers and non-believers alike.
What will we find on Friday? A hoax? The Ten Commandments? Dirt?
This news and the Mystery of Crop Circles Answered all in the same week. It must be sign, I tell ya!

Update 6/27: WND reports that Abuna Pauolos has backed out of plans to show the relic. Sources point out that he did not receive permission to reveal the Ark to the world and that artifacts in these cases, most likely, do not get shown to the public.
That last part bothered me. Why aren't we allowed to see these things? Let the conspiracy theories begin!

Indie, This Time, No Aliens

According to Frank Marshall, Indiana Jones and the Scriptwriting Brigade may be in full swing soon. He told Empire Magazine that waiting another twenty years to do another Indian Jones film was out of the question.
So what will be the premise? Will it be nasty Nazis? No one knows.
What is known is Shia Labeouf is a talker. He's the one who let the plan be known. Though it's not much of a plan, but fans may turn up the heat to get the film made before Harrison Ford is unable to swing from high places.
Want another Indie Jones movie? We do. Let's just forgo the psychic, alien sideshow. We want to get down and dirty.
