Cinema Adventures - Royal Naval College

The Royal Naval College has been a historical fixture in Greenwich, England since the mid-1400's. With a timeline that spans nearly five centuries, this massive building complex has had the birth of royalty to marriages to movies. That's right, the old Royal Naval College has seen the likes of:

Big-screen blockbusters shot in recent years include The Mummy (1999), Shanghi Knights (2003), National Treasure (2004), The Queen (2006), Amazing Grace (2006), Starter for Ten (2006), Eastern Promises (2007) and The Golden Compass (2007).

The Old Royal Naval College has thus been host to a star-studded cast, which includes amongst others Helen Mirren, Hugh Grant, Sharon Stone, Keira Knightley, Owen Wilson, Jackie Chan, Nicole Kidman, Simon Callow, Naomi Watts, Rowan Atkinson and Andie McDowell.

Most recently, the movie Dorian Gray with Ben Barnes, Colin Firth, Ben Chaplin, and Rebecca Hall was filmed here.

Besides being a place of history, education, and film, the Royal Naval College has something for everyone: banquets, dinners, weddings, conferences, and meetings. Not to mention, its a great place to take a picture.
