Dawn Treader Sailing the Gold Coast

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has been confirmed by Australian officials as to the site of film production at the Gold Coast studios. The movie will use Warner Roadshow Studios' tank facilities and sound stages. As a bonus, the office will be at the film will be shot on the Gold Coast, in Redlands Shire and the Whitsundays.

For the third installment, Dawn Treader's budget will hover around the $150 million mark, making it the biggest film for the Coast since the $136 million Peter Pan in 2003.

Baja Studios in Mexico won the honor of the film first but producers were concerned about safety of the cast and crew after drug wars made it unsafe.

Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes are set to reprise their roles. Micheal Apted is set to direct.
