Seth Green has joined Robert Zemeckis's Mars need Moms. ImageMovers' with Disney will adapt the Berkeley Breathed children's novel into film.
Green's role is to play Milo, a boy who steals away on an alien ship to save his mom. Mindy Sterling is cast as the terrifying alien leader. Dan Fogler will be Gribble, a friend of Milo's, and Joan Cusack plays Milo's mom.
Zemeckis, Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey will produce along with executive producer Steven J. Boyd.
