Can you imagine the longest running television show was Gunsmoke? When that series ended in 1975, the show had the prize. Years later, an animated show has surpassed Gunsmoke, not by one but two seasons.
Fox announced that the network renewed the comedy for another 44 episodes!
But The Simpsons is no ordinary animated feature, the cartoon characters have won a Peabody and twenty-four Emmys.
