Freddie is back. Newline and Platinum Dunes are working together to reboot the teenage horror flick A Nightmare on Elm Street.

What will fans have to look forward too? Well, the production companies are keeping a tight lid on the film.

What we can tell you? The director is Samuel Bayer. No word yet on the cast, but actors should be announced soon. Filming begins April 27, 2009.
